Revision 6475 by archivist at 2026-10-01 23:31:41

Overview

First mission of the Oblation Exotic Mission on The Moon; follow Syndicate forces as they breach the Hive fortress. It is a secret mission that must be unlocked first (see Oblation).

Walkthrough

  1. Sabotage the Cabal energy drill: defeat shielded enemies, flip switches, destroy fuses and disable cooling towers, then overload the laser.
  2. Platform up through the caves, using sarcophagi and enemy positions as waypoints.
  3. Clear the soulfire barrier by punching special Thralls for a buff and dunking them in braziers; find the hidden Vessels in each room.
  4. Defeat Valus Tau'rig in two phases, using Pyre Cantor Wizards and soulfire mechanics. A strong Praxic Blade build helps with damage.
  5. Equip your Weapon of Sorrow and find the hidden Hive grimoire to open a rune door to Oblation: Soulfed.

Rewards

Progress toward Cull's Shadow and the first Exotic catalyst step.
