History of Operation: Diocles (triumph)

Overview

Operation: Diocles is a triumph awarded for completing the Operation: Diocles mission. It is worth 15 Light and was introduced during Season of the Seraph. The mission requires the Guardian to infiltrate the Seraph Launch Facility, defeat Hive forces, and secure the launch codes necessary to reach Seraph Station.

How to complete

To earn this triumph, the player must complete the Operation: Diocles mission. The activity is set within the Seraph Launch Facility and involves the following steps:

1. Infiltrate the Launch Control Facility by accessing the roof to bypass the sealed bunker entrance.
2. Blast open the vent connecting to the bunker and proceed into the sublevels.
3. Defeat a Crystalsinger Wizard and destroy the associated Hive Crystals to remove the shield protecting the Wizards.
4. Clear the remaining Hive enemies, including Thrall, Acolytes, Knights, Shriekers, and Wardens.
5. Enter the command room and defeat the bosses Ir Nithra, Scourge of the Ammonite and Ir Hanal, Scourge of the Dakaua.
6. Download the launch codes to complete the mission.

The mission is part of the quest to acquire the Revision Zero exotic weapon, though the triumph is obtained regardless of whether the dialogue is triggered.
