History of Orthrus

Overview

Omolon Precision Frame Grenade Launcher dealing Solar damage, a launch-year Heavy weapon. The curated roll is Confined Launch or Volatile Launch, Augmented Drum or Black Powder and Quickdraw. The name and flavor ("Let slip the dogs of war") nod to the two-headed hound of Greek myth.

Acquisition

Earned through rank-up packages on Nessus with Failsafe, who also sold it for Nessus Tokens and Legendary Shards. This is a legacy reputation-era source: the source wiki records that destination tokens and the rank-up system were removed in version 6.3.0 and the vendors moved to the Destiny Content Vault with Beyond Light, so check current availability.
