History of Overshield

An Overshield is a temporary extra layer of health that a Guardian gains from abilities, mods, armor and weapon perks, absorbing damage before health is hurt. In Gambit Prime the Collector perk Umbral Armor grants one when picking up Motes. Many exotic armor and weapons, such as those linked from this wiki's armor pages, grant overshields on kills or abilities.
