Overview

Paracausal Beam is the Season 24 basic intrinsic on Microcosm, an Exotic Trace Rifle that deals Kinetic damage. The perk fires a beam of Kinetic light that deals massive bonus damage to shields.

Tips

The bonus is aimed at shielded targets, so it is most useful against shielded enemies in PvE. Against Subjugators, the whole health bar counts as Strand and Stasis shield, so the bonus applies across the entire bar. No exact shield damage percentage is listed on the wiki page.
