History of Partition: Backdoor

Overview

Partition: Backdoor is one of three rotating weekly Partition missions in Neomuna from Destiny 2: Lightfall. Recommended Power is 1790, for up to 3 players. To unlock, finish the Hall of Heroes quests from Quinn up to the Bluejay quest, then the weekly Partition challenge from Nimbus (8 Shellcode Fragments and a Polymorphic Engine from a Terminal Overload chest).

Mechanics

Break into a Vex Mind's stronghold. Defeat Vex until a Hydra drops a logic bomb, throw it at firewalls to open the path, and face a shielded boss that only logic bombs can break. At 50% health it retreats. Overload Champions and Cabal appear. A Wyvern boss is reported by GGRecon, so sources differ on the boss name.

Rewards

First weekly completion per character gives Pinnacle Gear.
