Penance is a Season 8 basic trait tied to the exotic Divinity trace rifle. Targets that stay under the effect of Judgment long enough take a burst of damage. The burst value is not published.

Judgment's intrinsic builds a Vex Cage when enough hits land quickly. Targets inside a cage take 15% more damage from all sources, or 30% on Divinity, per light.gg community data.
