History of Penumbral Depths

Penumbral Depths is a former cave system beneath the Hellas Basin on Mars, partially carved out by Xol. It served as a breeding ground for the Grasp of Nokris and a staging point for their invasion of the BrayTech Futurescape. It connects to Olympus Descent and was reachable only during the Strange Terrain mission and strike.
