History of Pervading Darkness

Overview

Pervading Darkness is the debuff from Vow of the Disciple. Stacks build in several parts of the raid:

• Disciple's Bog: Guardians not close to the payload gain stacks while Knowledge Bearers are alive.
• Collection: Entering the dark room adds stacks.
• Exhibition: Stacks build across the fireteam once the Aegis is in play.
• Dominion: Rhulk's glaive applies stacks to the fireteam, and during Final Stand he applies them constantly.

At 10 stacks the Guardian dies. Higher stacks progressively reduce visibility.

Clearing it

In Collection, wait outside the room for stacks to tick down before re-entering. In Exhibition, stand inside the Aegis bubble to remove it; the Aegis holder must cleanse teammates regularly to keep the fireteam alive. Dominion has no listed clearing method, so enter Final Stand without any stacks.
