History of Phase Race

Overview

Phase Race is a feat (modifier) for The Desert Perpetual Raid on Kepler in The Edge of Fate. It limits each boss to two damage phases instead of the usual three. A fireteam that runs out of phases is wiped. Feats are chosen before launching the raid and only become available after the raid has been completed once.

Phase Race is required for the Brutal Efficiency triumph, which needs every encounter completed with the feat active. That triumph greatly increases the initial chance for a Whirling Ovation drop. Completing all ten Desert Perpetual triumphs earns the Atemporal title and seal.
