History of Philomath Robes

Overview

Philomath Robes is the chest armor piece of the Philomath Legendary armor set for Warlocks. The set's other pieces are Philomath Cover, Philomath Gloves, Philomath Robes, Philomath Boots and Philomath Bond; the set is themed on the pursuit of knowledge. The Destiny 2 Wiki lists the intrinsic as Restorative Warlock Armor (improved Recovery, balanced with Mobility and Resilience), and notes the set may be a re-skin of the Sovereign Warlock set, with a default shader resembling worn Omolon Camo.

Acquisition

Open Legendary engrams and earn faction rank-up packages (per Bungie's item source text, as repeated by Destinypedia and the Destiny 2 Wiki). No source I opened states whether it is craftable, has an Adept version or has been sunset. Both sources place the set in Year 1 / original Destiny 2 content; Destinypedia does not give a season.

Set

Part of the Philomath armor set: Philomath Cover, Philomath Gloves, Philomath Robes. Class: Warlock.
