History of Phoenix Cradle

Phoenix Cradle is Exotic leg armor for Titans, introduced in Season 8 with Shadowkeep.

Overview

The intrinsic perk, Beacons of Empowerment, doubles the duration of your Sol Invictus benefits and grants Sol Invictus to allies who pass through your Sunspots. With The Edge of Fate (July 15, 2025), Bungie added two effects: sustained Solar weapon damage while standing in a Sunspot extends it, and granting Solar buffs to allies can create a Sunspot at your feet. The item’s old stat figures predate Armor 3.0.

Acquisition

• Story completion reward from the Shadowkeep campaign.
• For past-expansion Exotic armor, Master Rahool's Novel Focusing became available without a reputation-track reset on July 15, 2025; check the vendor for current eligibility and requirements.
