History of Pinnacle Gear

Overview

Pinnacle gear is the reward tier that raises Power Level past the Powerful cap up to the Pinnacle Cap, also called the hard cap. The Pinnacle Cap is the highest Power at which gear can drop in the current season. Seasonal Artifact bonus levels do not count toward it. See also Powerful Gear.

How to earn

Weekly challenges reward Pinnacle Gear. The in-game Director tooltip shows which activities and vendors offer it.

Power gain

Most Pinnacle rewards add +2 Power. The Commendations challenge from Suraya Hawthorne adds +1.

The cap values change each season. In recent seasons the Pinnacle Cap has sat about 10 Power above the Powerful cap.
