History of Play of the Game

Overview

Play of the Game is a Legendary Grenade Launcher using the Adaptive Frame, with a 6-round magazine and about 120 RPM. Flavor: "Show no mercy." The curated roll has Linear Compensator, Proximity Grenades and Threat Detector, which greatly improves reload, stability and handling when targets are close. One wiki lists its damage type as Solar while the game data here lists Arc; this may differ between versions, so check the in-game item. It debuted in Season 1 and was re-implemented in Year 2.

Acquisition

Crucible Engrams from Lord Shaxx rank-ups, or bought from him with Crucible Tokens and Legendary Shards, through the Crucible. The source does not list it as craftable.
