Overview
Project BLUE DOOR was a project of the Department of External Observation to build an interdimensional tunneling device. Its goal was faster-than-light communication without violating causality, but early tests were inconclusive and the project was shelved.
In the 1967 Introduction Letter, William Moffat reactivates the project after becoming convinced that something pulled Dr. Nella Davis and Agent Louis Yero into another dimension. The team opens a tear about 15 centimeters across and estimates that human passage could be possible in six months. The project is revived to search for the missing.
