History of Rations

Spare Rations (shown here under the name Rations) is a Legendary Kinetic Hand Cannon and one of the weapon rewards of the Reckoning, a four-player activity introduced in Season of the Drifter and later vaulted.

The Reckoning has three tiers. Tier I has players kill Taken before time runs out, ending in a boss fight. Tier II has players capture bridge sections to open a portal to a boss arena, and a variant sends players to a Likeness of Oryx. Tier III is similar to Tier II, with tougher enemies and slower bridge captures.

Sources differ on how the weapon is obtained now. Guides list the Drifter's weapon subvendor and Reckoning weapon focusing with Deep Engrams, so check the current in-game rewards before farming.
