History of Redrix's Claymore

Overview

Redrix's Claymore is a Legendary Kinetic Pulse Rifle with the High-Impact Frame intrinsic: slow-firing, high-damage, and more accurate when stationary and aiming down sights. The curated roll has Chambered Compensator, Corkscrew Rifling or Polygonal Rifling barrels, Outlaw (precision kills greatly reduce reload time) and Desperado (reloading after Outlaw activates increases rate of fire). Its flavor text reads "On the ladder and in the fight, momentum is the answer."

It was one of the pinnacle Crucible rewards, tied to competitive ranking, and was introduced during the Warmind era (Destinypedia ties it to the expansion; Game Wiki lists Season 3).

Acquisition

It was awarded for reaching the Glory rank of Fabled in the Competitive Crucible playlist; Destinypedia describes it as awarded by Lord Shaxx to pinnacle Crucible players. Game Wiki says it is no longer obtainable through normal gameplay, so check in game for any current reissue. No sources document a craftable or Adept version.
