Reed's Regret

Overview

Reed's Regret is a Legendary Stasis Linear Fusion Rifle obtained from the Trials of Osiris. Its flavor text reads: "Trust me." —Savathûn as Osiris.

Acquisition

The weapon is acquired from the Freelance: Trials of Osiris activity. It cannot be reacquired from Collections.

Reed's Regret is the first foundry weapon offered by the Cult of Osiris, followed by The Inquisitor, Exalted Truth, and Unwavering Duty. It first appeared in Destiny 2 during the Season of the Lost.

The weapon's lore involves Reed-7 and Shayura. Saint-14 gave the fusion rifle to Shayura for her accomplishments in the Trials. Shayura later suffered a breakdown during a match, nearly killing another Guardian. Osiris told Reed to trust him to look after Shayura and guide her back to clarity. Reed-7 kept the rifle, which was marked with the Eye of Osiris and covered in notes in Shayura's handwriting.
