History of Regenerative Motion

Overview

Regenerative Motion is a Season 21 basic trait on the Exotic Centrifuse auto rifle. Sprinting gradually reloads the weapon, starting as soon as you press the sprint button.

Rate

The trait loads roughly one or two rounds per second while you sprint. It does not refill a full magazine in a few seconds, but it is a strong way to top off between fights.

Overcharge Capacitor

The weapon's intrinsic, Overcharge Capacitor, builds an electrostatic charge when you sprint, slide, or fire. The charge increases range and reload speed. Final blows at high charge cause explosions, and at maximum charge those explosions blind targets. Reloading fully or switching weapons drains the charge, and sprinting into a wall does not build it. Keeping the weapon charged is easiest by staying in motion rather than firing constantly.
