History of Resonant Splinter

Overview

The Resonant Splinter is the escort objective of the Resonant Destruction public event in Savathûn's Throne World, added in The Witch Queen. Guardians stay near the Splinter to move it toward The Wellspring while defending it from enemies.

When it arrives, it charges and detonates, killing nearby foes, breaking the Hive spells sealing the Wellspring and clearing large patches of Blight. Heroic versions are triggered differently, and sources disagree on how.
