History of Root Kitted

Overview

Root Kitted is a legacy Season of the Splicer general triumph for completing The Red Hat, the Crucible ornament quest for Null Composure. Its reward is Inferno Heraldry.

How to complete

First obtain Null Composure through A Sacred Fusion, then collect The Red Hat from Lord Shaxx in the Tower. Defeat one hundred opposing Guardians with Fusion Rifles or Solar weapons and earn three Valor ranks. Win streaks provide bonus progress.

Both the weapon-defeat and rank objectives must be completed. Return to Lord Shaxx to finish the quest and receive the ornament. The original Splicer quest route retired in February 2022; this triumph is unrelated to the Root of Nightmares raid.
