History of Royal Awoken Guard

Overview

The Royal Awoken Guard, also called the Queensguard, is the personal bodyguard of Mara Sov, Queen of the Reef. One of the seven Paladins commands the unit, which works closely with Uldren Sov, the Master of Crows.

Role

The Guard protects the Queen from immediate danger and defends the Reef against wider threats. Its notable members include Petra Venj and the late Yasmin Eld, a Paladin who was tied to the Guard's command. One of its notable events was the assassination attempt by the Queenbreakers during Skolas' rebellion, which the Guard repulsed at heavy cost to both sides.

Sources differ on Yasmin Eld's fate. Destinypedia lists her as lost at the Battle of Saturn, while the Fandom wiki lists her as missing and presumed dead.
