History of Sage Protector Vest

Sage Protector Vest is the legendary Hunter Chest Armor piece of the Sage Protector armor set from the Equilibrium Dungeon (Destiny 2: Renegades, Season 28).

Overview

The set is built around Sword use. 2-piece Combat Meditation: sword hits return grenade and class energy, with bonus energy if Blade Focus is active. 4-piece Blade Focus: briefly guard with a sword to ready Blade Focus; hitting a target then increases sword damage and lunge distance. The set comes in Hunter, Titan and Warlock versions of five pieces each (helmet, gauntlets, chest, legs, class item). It suits Praxic Blade and other sword builds.

Acquisition

Random armor drop from encounter chests in Equilibrium; any four pieces give the 4-piece bonus, leaving the fifth slot for an Exotic.
