Revision 7605 by archivist at 2026-10-01 23:38:00
Sanctum of Bones (Legendary) is the Legendary-difficulty version of the Sanctum of Bones Lost Sector in Echo Mesa on Io. The in-game listing is "Head to the Sanctum of Bones and defeat Ghalar, the Fugitive to retrieve Warmind Bits."
Overview
- Type: Legendary Lost Sector (the activity data files it under Nightfall-style listings).
- Destination: Echo Mesa, Io.
- Match Game: Cabal.
- Champions: Barrier and Unstoppable.
- Launch: from the Io map or the Director, as a solo or fireteam activity.
Encounters
Players fight through the sector to its boss room and defeat the boss for the chest. Note that the standard Sanctum of Bones page on Destinypedia and the Destiny 2 Wiki lists the boss as Pandrok, Pillar of Nothing and the enemies as Taken; the Legendary listing's description names Ghalar, the Fugitive and a Cabal match game, so the Legendary variant may use different enemies. Sources disagree and the older descriptions may predate later changes.
Rewards
The description lists Warmind Bits as the reward, used for Ana Bray's Hall of Heroes? No: Warmind Bits were a Warmind-era currency for upgrading the Clovis Bray bunker. See the linked currency page.
Notes
The Sanctum of Bones sector debuted in the Season of Arrivals era per Destinypedia. Legendary Lost Sectors are no longer in the current rotation under this name; check the Director.
