History of Sapphiric Sun

Overview

The Sapphiric Sun was one of the two suns over Lubrae, alongside the Umbral Sun. It provided the planet's light and was the main energy source of the Lubraeans, who used Sapphiric Converters to draw power from it. The Umbral Sun left the planet's surface in darkness.

The sun first appears in Destiny 2: The Witch Queen.

Fate

Rhulk destroyed the Sapphiric Sun with the Upended, and Lubrae was destroyed afterwards.
