Savathûn's Worm

Overview

Savathûn's Worm is a worm larva that once lived inside Savathûn, the Witch Queen, and gave her paracausal abilities. Mara Sov removed it, and it is now kept inside the Parasite exotic grenade launcher.

Appearances

Equipping Parasite during the Birthplace of the Vile strike in Savathûn's Throne World makes the worm speak to the Guardian, usually to taunt them. It also speaks during Wellspring runs in the Throne World.

Of Queen and Worms

In Of Queen and Worms, Mara Sov offered the worm a new host in exchange for what it knew about Savathûn's role in the Collapse. Instead, the ritual turned the worm into the Parasite weapon. The worm revealed that Savathûn observed the Collapse on behalf of the Witness and tricked the Witness when it turned its gaze toward the Traveler.
