History of Scorching Hot

Overview

Scorching Hot is a Solstice event challenge for completing three matches in the Crucible Ops Solstice Scorched playlist. It rewards an Event Token and Event XP.

How to complete

During the original event, select its Scorched playlist and remain through three match results. The mode uses Scorch Cannons rather than the normal weapon loadout. Aim ahead of moving opponents and use the charged projectile's delayed detonation when needed.

A victory is not stated as a requirement: finish the matches instead of leaving an unfavorable game. Other Crucible modes do not replace the named event playlist. Solstice retired in June 2026, so this original event challenge route is no longer available.
