History of Season of the Splicer

Overview

Season of the Splicer ran from 11 May to 24 August 2021, the fourteenth season of Destiny 2 and the third of Beyond Light.

Story

The Vanguard allies with Mithrax, Kell of Light, against the Vex simulation called the Endless Night that engulfs the Last City. Players use Splicer tech to fight Quria, Blade Transform.

Activities

Override is a six-player matchmade activity run on Vex Network sites; weekly Expunge missions gave pinnacle rewards. The Vault of Glass raid returned on 22 May with Atheon, Time's Conflux. Gear included Cryosthesia 77K and Vex Mythoclast.
