History of Seasonal Artifact

Overview

Seasonal Artifact is an introductory progression record for obtaining an Artifact. Its original seasonal version directed players to the locked artifact slot in the character screen for the acquisition quest.

How to complete

Obtain the artifact offered through its introduction quest or availability route, then open the artifact from the character screen. Obtaining it is separate from unlocking or activating its perks.

In June 2026, Artifacts 2.0 introduced a selection of seven available artifacts, including reworked artifacts from earlier seasons. These use the updated perk-selection system rather than requiring a newly released artifact every season.
