History of Sere

Overview

Dredgen Sere, often just Sere, is the final boss of the Equilibrium Dungeon on Venus from Destiny 2: Renegades. He uses Arc and Taken energy to rip open his own Throne World and become functionally immortal.

Encounter

1. Kill Nameless Apprentices and collect Gathering Shadow to reach the Shadow Master buff.
2. In the Taken realm, "Compel" five Blistered Shadows (shadow copies of Sere) to gain Lure of the Dark stacks.
3. Destroy the Taken orbs in both the real arena and the Taken one to open the damage phase.
4. After damage, Arc fills the middle of the arena, pushing players to the edges; Darkness panels disable the Arc pylons.

A 45-second timer swaps everyone between the realms, per the Game Rant summary. Guides suggest a Well of Radiance Warlock. Sage Protector armor (Sage Protector Helm) drops from the dungeon.
