History of Shadow's Cloak

Overview

Shadow's Cloak is a Legendary Hunter Cloak (class item) for the Hunter class, part of the Ace-Defiant Suit armor set from the Leviathan raid. The full set is: the Ace-Defiant Suit pieces including Vest of the Ace-Defiant; Destinypedia's Leviathan page lists the Ace-Defiant Suit as the normal Hunter set (class item identification is inferred from the item's flavor text).

Lore: the Ace-Defiant was Calus's helmsman who burned his mind to fly the Emperor's golden ship, per the item flavor text.

Acquisition

Dropped as loot from the Leviathan raid, including Raid Engrams. Per Destinypedia, Leviathan content was sunset with Destiny 2: Beyond Light on November 10th, 2020, so this armor is no longer usable for endgame content as released then; it is not available through normal gameplay today.
