History of Shelter From The Storm

Overview

Shelter From The Storm is a buff from the torches in the Wailing Tempest encounter of Warlord's Ruin, the Locus of Wailing Grief. Activating a torch removes all stacks of Biting Cold.

Biting Cold

Biting Cold builds up when Guardians try to cleanse totems during the snowstorm. At 10 stacks, the affected player is frozen and killed.

Torches

Torches at the back of the arena grant the buff. Activating one removes all Biting Cold stacks within five seconds.

Damage phase

During the damage phase, standing near the most recently lit pillar grants Shelter From The Storm. The buff ends when the Naeem's Wish Empowerment runs out.
