History of Shield-Piercing

Overview

Shield-piercing damage gets through the shields that normally block it. In Destiny 2 this is mostly done with Anti-Barrier weapons, mods and abilities.

Anti-Barrier rounds pierce the shields of Barrier Champions, Hobgoblin immunity shields, Phalanx shields, Hydra rotating shields, Knight shields and Taken Vandal bubbles. Anti-Barrier sources include seasonal artifact mods, some intrinsic exotics such as Eriana's Vow, Arbalest, Wish-Ender and Lament, and some subclass abilities such as Radiant and Volatile Rounds.
