Overview

Shield Wrecker is a Triumph in Destiny 2. The objective requires the Guardian to break eight combatant shields using matching elemental damage without dying during the attempt. Completing this triumph awards one Medal.

How to complete

To earn the Shield Wrecker triumph, the player must engage enemies that possess shield abilities. The player must deal damage to these shields using an elemental type that matches the shield's color (e.g., Solar, Arc, or Void). Each time a shield is broken with the correct elemental damage, progress toward the objective is made.

The player must successfully break a total of eight such shields. Crucially, the player must not die at any point during the process of breaking these eight shields. If the player dies, the progress for this specific instance of the triumph is lost, and the requirement to break eight shields without dying must be restarted. The elemental damage used must match the shield type for the break to count toward the objective.
