History of Shock Blast

Overview

Shock Blast is the intrinsic of Legend of Acrius, an Exotic Shotgun. Every blast of high-damage Arc energy passes through enemies, so a single shot can hit everything in its line.

The most detailed current description says the weapon fires 15 pellets in a wide blast with no damage falloff and unlimited overpenetration, up to 18 meters. It also deals an extra Arc hit to grounded enemies, listed at 135.2 damage in PvE and 150 in PvP. It reloads faster than it fires, so a shot fired right after each reload gives a near-unlimited magazine.

Older descriptions and guides leave out the grounded-enemy bonus and reload detail, so check the current in-game text. The exotic trait is Long March, which extends enemy radar range.
