History of Shoot to Loot

Shoot to Loot is a weapon perk (trait) that lets you pick up ammo bricks, and later Orbs of Power, by shooting them from a distance. Picking up an ammo brick this way also reloads equipped weapons from reserves.

History

Originally ammo-only. Beginning in Season 21, Season of the Deep, the perk also works on Orbs of Power, activating armor charge mods and granting Super energy, a boon for solo and cover-heavy content such as Grandmaster Nightfalls (per Shacknews).

It can be rolled on crafted Chronophage (per GameSpot), usually paired with One for All or Demolitionist.
