The Siberian Entropy Protocol is a process that Rasputin, the Warmind, used against a Hive invasion of Hellas Basin on Mars. It froze the region from a mild climate to a frozen wasteland in only a few days, trapping the invaders and temporarily halting the Worm God Xol and his army. Sources place the event sometime between the Traveler's departure from Mars and the City Age, without a more precise date.
