History of Sindû

The Sindû (also spelled Sindu) are an alien species that lives in gas giants in the Spinward Marches. They were a client species of the Cabal Empire and are known as exceptional space pilots, the best of whom were called Ace-Defiants.

Emperor Calus conquered the Sindû after they refused to join his Loyalists, destroying their star-pilot corps except for Jarus, the one Ace-Defiant he spared and made a Shadow. The Sindû appear in Destiny 2 only as references.
