History of Sindu

Overview

The Sindû (also spelled Sindu) are an alien race that lives in gas giants and is a client species of the Cabal Empire. They are exceptional space pilots, and their best are called Ace-Defiants.

Story

The Grips of the Ace-Defiant belong to Jarus, a Sindû pilot. The Cabal conquered the Sindû during the reign of Emperor Calus and exploited their worlds for fusion fuel and antimatter, which led to a rebellion. When the Sindû refused to join Calus's Loyalists, he conquered them and destroyed their star-pilot corps, sparing only Jarus. Jarus had led pilots against Calus's flagship, the Leviathan, and the attack failed. Calus then spared him and made him one of his Shadows. Calus gave the surviving Sindû a fleet of golden ships to defend the Leviathan.
