Slideshot is a trait: sliding partially reloads the weapon's magazine and temporarily boosts Range and Stability. Shattered Vault notes it performs well in PvP.

Details

It rolls on Auto Rifles, Hand Cannons, Pulse Rifles, Scout Rifles, Sidearms, Shotguns and Sniper Rifles, for example Judgment, The Long Walk and Purpose.

The exact reload amount and the length of the boost are not in the in-game text, and community figures vary between guides. The enhanced version adds reload speed, range and stability.

Tips

Slideshot pairs naturally with Slideways, which boosts handling and stability instead of range.
