History of Soaring Fang

Overview

Soaring Fang is the intrinsic of The Manticore, an Exotic weapon. Damage dealt while grounded charges the antigrav repulsors. Damage dealt while airborne extends them, so you float. The float drains over time, and movement is limited while you float. Pressing the alternate weapon action disengages the repulsors early, per the item description.

The wiki page is older and says there is no way to cancel the float early. The item text, which includes the alternate action, is the current description, so check it in-game.
