History of Solstice Alloy

Solstice Alloy is the currency of Solstice of Heroes (as described for Solstice 2025) that is spent at the Solstice Forge to craft Solstice Armor.

Earning

Alloy is earned by completing Portal activities while Solstice modifiers are active; harder activities such as dungeons or raids pay out more. TheGamer lists 25 from Solo Ops, 32 from Fireteam Ops, 56 from Pinnacle Ops and 15 or more from Crucible.

Spending

Eva Levante in The Tower runs the forge. Each armor piece (helmet, gauntlets, chest, legs, class item) costs 100 Alloy. Glow upgrades cost 50 Alloy per piece, but sources name the upgrade item differently: TheGamer says "Iridescent Ingot", while Kyber's Corner describes "Incandescent Ingots".
