History of Special Circumstances

Overview

Special Circumstances is an event challenge for earning twenty progress through Special Ammo weapon defeats. Gizmo Weft, the named Grenade Launcher, grants bonus progress. It rewards Event Tokens and Event XP.

How to complete

Equip a Special-ammunition weapon and secure final blows on combatants. Collect ammunition between groups so the qualifying weapon can continue finishing targets. Use Gizmo Weft when available to accelerate the weighted counter through its bonus.

Weaken dangerous enemies from cover, then finish them with the qualifying weapon. Other Special weapons still provide the ordinary progress route; the objective does not state that a Volatile Weapon Mod is required. Continue until twenty progress is recorded and claim the challenge.
