History of Specter

Overview

Specter is a Triumph associated with the Ghost of the Lucent Brood. Completing this triumph awards 10 Glimmer and 100 Xur's Bounty points. The objective requires the Guardian to progress through the Triumph's tracking mechanism, which involves interacting with specific elements within the Witch Queen expansion.

How to complete

To complete this triumph, players must engage with the narrative and gameplay elements introduced in Destiny 2: The Witch Queen. The triumph tracks progress as the player experiences the story beats involving Specter, a Ghost belonging to the Lucent Brood.

The specific narrative context involves Specter and his Lightbearer, Nabenki, investigating a series of Thrall murders. Their investigation reveals that the killer is the Lightbearer Urukthalyn, who executed a subordinate for alleged theft of Light. As the pair encounters more murders, they suspect infiltration by Humans or Fallen. They eventually analyze a living Thrall identified as POI-7, who admits to fabricating a confession to end a visceral interrogation and claims his symbiote is sated by Light. Specter concludes that Light is spontaneously trickling down to the lower classes of the Hive rather than being stolen.

Players must progress through the relevant Destiny 2 activities or story segments where these events unfold to satisfy the (0/7) progress requirement. The triumph is obtained automatically upon fulfilling the tracking conditions set by Bungie for this specific narrative arc.
