History of Splinter of Darkness

Overview

The Splinter of Darkness is a quest item in Destiny 2: Beyond Light. During the Rising Resistance tasks on Europa, the Exo Stranger retrieves it and gives it to the Guardian. She directs the Guardian to attune it at the Ziggurat on the plateau beyond, which is the first chance to use Stasis abilities. The Guardian then trains with it before confronting Eramis.

Splinters of Darkness are Pyramid artifacts that grant the ability to wield Stasis. The Witness created them, and Cruxes of Darkness mass-produce them.
