History of Starlight Shell

Overview

The Starlight Shell is a Legendary Ghost Shell from Forsaken (Year 2, Season 4). It is tied to the Dreaming City.

Acquisition

The in-game collections entry lists the shell as dropping from Dreaming City activities. Players most often reported getting it from the Ascendant Challenges chest rather than a bounty. A 2019 Bungie forum thread also reports that other Dreaming City activities such as the Blind Well did not yield it for some players.
