History of Still Hunt

Still Hunt is an Exotic Solar Sniper Rifle from Destiny 2: The Final Shape.

Overview

Its intrinsic perk, Cayde's Retribution, charges a Super bar when you pick up Orbs of Power or land precision hits. When full, hold reload to fire Golden Gun shots, usable by any class. Destructoid notes strong handling, very little recoil, and that charging the bar is hard without an Orb-focused build.

Acquisition

Complete the Destiny 2: The Final Shape campaign, then speak to Cayde-6 at the Tower and finish the Wild Card Exotic quest (about 45 minutes, self-contained). Cayde gives you the rifle at the end.

Catalyst

Added in June 2026, the catalyst grants Lucky Shot: reloading after a precision final blow causes precision hits to refill a round from reserves. The objective is 500 target defeats. PC Gamer’s June 10, 2026 table lists Vanguard Ops, Crucible, Gambit, or Exotic Order payouts as acquisition sources.
