History of Stormchaser

Overview

Stormchaser is a legendary Arc Linear Fusion Rifle for the Heavy slot, and the dungeon's headline weapon. The wiki lists it as an Aggressive Frame that fires a three-round burst per shot, with a 5-round magazine. The curated roll pairs Arrowhead Brake and Accelerated Coils with Rapid Hit and Rampage, plus the Bitterspite origin trait (taking damage speeds up the next reload). Its flavor text is "Rage unseen."

Guides at launch rated it as a top boss-damage weapon. The roll most often recommended is Auto-Loading Holster, Firing Line, Fluted Barrel and Enhanced Battery, which suits damage phases with a fireteam.

Acquisition

Stormchaser drops in the Duality dungeon, from the Vault encounter alongside the Unforgiven submachine gun. It was introduced with Season of the Haunted (Season 17) and is not listed as craftable. The final encounter also lets you target any Duality weapon or armor drop, so it can be earned there too.
