History of Strange Signal

Overview

Strange Signal is a story-type activity on The Pale Heart, reached from the Distortions quest. Distortions are a patrol event: each hour one destination becomes Distorted, the sky tears open and enemies there become tougher.

How to start

After speaking to Ikora Rey and Lodi in the Tower, you get the Distortions quest. Complete a public event and stay for the follow-up wave-defense event, shooting the three red corruptions. Collect Strange Matter from chests, material nodes and public events; it turns into a Strange Signal marker on your map. Follow the marker to the Distorted Destination. The destination rotates, so the signal may point elsewhere depending on timing.
