History of Striking Gold

Overview

Striking Gold is a legacy Episode: Echoes Ritual, Failsafe Research triumph. Collect a rare Golden Radiolite sample, rather than merely an ordinary-quality sample.

Original completion route

Gather Radiolite during Echoes Battlegrounds and use available Planetary Assimilation Pistons to reveal further samples. Rare samples are distinct from accumulating many small ordinary ones.

After Specimen ID: NES006, defeat Assimilated Demolishers in the battlegrounds for a chance at an Assimilated Beacon. Bring the Beacon to the special Vex Conflux in Watcher's Grave on Nessus, near the route toward the land tank. Defeat all three summoned Demolishers before the timer expires for the original weekly missing-sample reward route.

Continue until the rare Golden sample is obtained. The original Echoes seasonal sample and research route retired in July 2025.
